Import declaration is one of the necessary links to fulfill the customs entry procedures, and it is also a complex and highly specialized work. The general process of import declaration is like this: the consignee prepares the sea import document →exchange order →inspection →sea import declaration →transact the goods handover order →pick up the container →pick up the goods. Sea import document The consignee provides the freight forwarder with a full set of import documents; the freight forwarder finds out which shipping company the cargo is carried by, which shipping agent operates it, and where it can be exchanged for the bill of lading (small bill of lading). Import documents include: the original bill of lading or copy of the radio amplifier with endorsement, packing list, invoice, contract (general trade). The agent customs declaration enterprise contacts the station in advance and confirms the pick-up fee, digging fee, loading fee, and return fee. Change Order The freight forwarder confirms the time and place of arrival of the ship at the designated shipping agency or shipping company. Handle the cargo receipt The freight forwarder shall go to the shipping company or the container management department of the freight forwarder to handle the delivery order with the original bill of lading with endorsement (fax copy and guarantee letter for the release of the electric discharge). Cargo delivery order: It is the function of the exchange of vouchers for containers and other mechanical equipment between the returnee, the shipper and the container manager or its agent when the container enters and exits the port area and the station, and has the function of the container manager to issue container certificates. It is divided into entry and exit, and the exchange procedures are handled at the gate of the dockyard. pick up container The freight forwarder shall go to the container management department to handle the payment procedures of import container overdue charges, unloading charges, import document fees, etc. If the payee is not the consignee indicated on the bill of lading, the payee must issue a letter of guarantee (guarantee) that agrees to charge the consignee and pay the corresponding fee. After the charge is completed and authorized by the shipping management department of the shipping agency, go to the import container release station to go through the container pick-up procedures, receive the container equipment handover form, and check whether the content is correct. After the consignee unpacks the imported goods, returning the empty box to the designated return place. After returning the empty container to the designated storage yard, the consignee shall promptly present the deposit voucher and go to the container management department to handle the settlement procedure of container charges. pick up the goods 1. The freight forwarder or consignee shall contact the trailer to pick up the goods at the designated dock or station of the freight forwarder on the basis of the small bill of lading. 2. The beneficiary goes to the container management department to go through the container betting settlement procedures. Note: LCL cargo needs to go to the shipping company or shipping agent to sign the bulk cargo sub-bill of lading (sub-bill), and use the small bill of lading and sub-bill to pick up the goods when picking up the goods.
